After 24 hours in the hospital I am so ready to be at home with you. I still can not believe you are here and you are ours and we get to take you home with us. You made labor and delievery very easy for me. You have been such a good baby from the very beginning. I first night you spent most of the night in the nursery and they brought you to me when you woke up to eat. It is the most amazing thing still being able to care for all your needs. I am alittle nervous about bringing you home and not having anyone around to ask questions to and to let me know that everything is ok. But I am sure we will make it through and you will survive all the mistakes I make and still love me just because I am your mom. I pray for you everytime I hold you. I love you with a special love I never knew I had.
We left the hospital at 4:06pm on 11/11/10 alittle more 24 hours after you were home. Dad took care of everything in the hospital and got all our stuff to the car and we were on our way home.
The first day with you was amazing and we just sat and stared at you all day and most of the night. You were very hungry your first day home and ate every two hours. We had so much fun and I did not mind getting up in the middle of the night to take care of you at all.
The next day we took you to see your doctor, Mary McDavitt, and she said you were a healthy girl and that you were very beautiful, daddy and me both agreed.
You slept through the whole night when you were only 7 and 8 days old. I can not believe you make being a mommy so easy. I love you so much already I can not believe you are my daughter. I will like you forever and love you always and as long as I am living my baby you will be.
